The Birth of Halong Bay

Ha Long means 'descending dragon' in Vietnamese. Legend has it that a family of dragons descended into this Vietnamese bay, spitting out jewels and jade along the way. The stones became the islands in Halong bay, which formed a wall to help protect the Vietnamese from invaders.

This is my interpretation of that legend (can you make out the dragon on the right?) and an effort to capture the feeling of the bay. I used pieces from the history museum (below).
