This is "The Swing" by Jean-Honoré Fragonard. I like the fact that the subject matter takes up only a tiny portion of the actual picture-everything else is sky, trees and clouds. Ironically, when I was googling for this painting (I didn't remember the name or the artist), I only found detail pictures of the woman on the swing so it took me a long time to identify it. I wonder why nobody noticed the sky?
