Digital Pen

I've been coveting a digital pen for a while now and I finally got a Pulse Smartpen for my birthday! Use the pen to draw on one of their special notepads and the pen remembers what you've drawn. Images can be pasted as vectors in Illustrator (!).

The pen is heavily designed and marketed as a classroom notetaking tool-they barely mention graphics. I think they'll make a killing when they realize that some people actually draw for a living.

I can vouch that it works great-it takes a few tries to learn how to best use but the learning curve isn't steep. Highly recommended for graphics people who don't like to draw directly on the computer.
