I've fallen in love with the paintings of Luisa Sartori. I was, at first, caught by the intriguing mix of geometric shapes resembling pencil sketches, mixed with atmospheric-feeling colors. And after reading her artist's statement I'm even more fascinated. Luisa observes that abstract, modern shapes "find their origin in the organic world" and she seeks to juxtapose these seemingly opposite abstract shapes against their organic muse.
