Once upon a time I used to paint and draw and create art completely unaided by a computer (!). I then began drawing for a living and somehow the real hands-on, dirty job of art making fell by the wayside. I still imagine myself, one day, becoming a prolific painter (this will miraculously happen during all my spare time) and I have ideas-a-plenty about what I will do. One thing I obsess over is the ability to capture motion with brushstrokes. I love these paintings of horse races that do exactly that.
