Always on the lookout for helpful free things, I found these rain textures on Texture Vault. They offer lots of interesting textures on a sliding scale... low-res textures are free and higher-res are $2-$4. If you happen to take lots of texture photos (like myself), you can sell your work with them as well. Perhaps I will try...
