For those who want to be on the cutting edge of fashion for spring 2011, Pantone has just realeased its Fashion Color Report in time for New York's fashion week (9/9-9/16). The Pantone folks have this to say about their color choices:
"Citing exotic destinations like Africa, India, Peru and Turkey as inspiration for spring 2011, designers continue to satisfy consumers' need to escape everyday challenges with intriguing color combinations that transport them to foreign lands."
The trend report includes input and sketches from influential fashionistas, including the kimono-inspired look above by Erin Fetherston. Download the pdf at Pantone's site here.
So, there is still not much hope I will find colors that "fit" me this season. UGH!

I'm with you... I might be able to get away with Regatta and Russet, but none of the others. Worse yet for me are the times you can only find pastels in the store!
