It's a Small World
Today I "discovered" the work of Mary Blair, an incredibly talented Illustrator who, among other accomplishments, worked on concepts behind some of Disney's most beautiful pictures like Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan. She's one of those people whose work I know I've seen and I probably should have known her name but I just didn't. Her flair for color, composition and mood are unparalleled and she's been incredibly influential in the worlds of animation and design.
