I just saw William Park's work at a used art gallery here in Portland. It was a simple painting of the ocean but the composition and use of color were so stunning I had to look him up on line to learn more. Park draws from a broad subject range for his work but, no matter what he's painting, his talent and love of the craft shows through. For some reason I particularly like this painting of lights called, "I Thought There Was Only One".
